The Customer is Always Wrong

A client calls and immediately tells me she just needs “x and x” removed.
Our standard procedures are to always take a look and audit a credit report before giving any actual advice. But she was so confident that I almost didn’t push.
Then I noticed that her loan officer had already sent us both a copy of her credit report, so I told her we would just take a quick look together.
After 2 minutes of looking at this credit report we found 3 aliases, 3 accounts without credit limits, the 2 items she wanted deleted, plus an installment account that was reporting without a classification.
People always get hung up on collections and late payments, but the truth is that payment history is only 35% of your score.

These other mistakes, once corrected, could easily improve her score another 75 points.
The goal of our free credit audit is to find ALL the mistakes and give you an honest idea of how to improve your credit report.
Just making timely payments doesn’t mean your score is fully optimized.
